Ben Shaw Leads the Way for Ashby Baggers at UKCL Qualifier 1

The UK Cornhole League (UKCL) Season 3 opener was a brilliant day of competition, with Liam McGrath going unbeaten to secure victory at Qualifier 1.

However our very own Ben Shaw secured a well-deserved third-place spot. Shaw, who made his UKCL debut in Season 2, has only been playing for a year but has shown remarkable consistency. Shaw has consistently placed well in each event and has the potential to rise further up the rankings as the season unfolds.

The event attracted a total of 45 players, showcasing the ever-growing enthusiasm and community spirit within the UK Cornhole scene. With a mix of seasoned competitors and new faces making their debut on the UKCL circuit, the event was not only competitive but also a great social occasion that highlighted the sport’s welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
