Overview
The Ashby Baggers Cornhole Club sprang to life from a simple yet passionate idea amongst friends in the summer of 2023. Since then, it has evolved into a vibrant community club, recognised by the UK Cornhole Federation. Our club has grown rapidly, hosting regular game nights, participating in regional qualifiers, and fostering an inclusive, fun environment for everyone interested in the sport of Cornhole.
Plan for 2024
In January, we're excited to continue offering open free introduction sessions to cornhole every Tuesday from 7pm to 10pm at the Everyone Active Leisure Centre, Ashby. This is the perfect opportunity for newcomers to learn the game and for seasoned players to hone their skills.
Starting in February, club nights will continue every Tuesday, between 7pm and 10pm at the Everyone Active Leisure Centre, Ashby De LA Zouch. We're upping the game with 2 full courts from 7pm, allowing more lanes and more game time for everyone. It's all about playing more and enjoying more!
Club Memberships
As we've transitioned from a social group to a structured community club with professional-grade equipment, we're introducing memberships to cover running costs like venue hire, equipment maintenance, insurance, and administration.
Starting in February, all players will be asked to take up a membership.
Full Membership:
Adults: £20/month or £200/year paid upfront
Juniors: £10/month or £100/year paid upfront
Benefits include access to every weekly 3-hour club night, entry into the club league, and participation in the weekly club airmail challenge competition.
Social Membership:
Adults: £50/year paid upfront + £10/session
Juniors: £25/year paid upfront + £7.50/session
Social members can enjoy friendly games during club nights on a pay-as-you-play basis.
New players are welcome to 4 free sessions before deciding on a membership.
